hostnine hostingHostNine is a newcomer in the web hosting world as they were established in 2006. Usually I am not a fan of the newer companies but HostNine has experienced significant growth throughout the years. One of the big reasons for this is that they have data centers in Texas, Washington DC, Seattle, Singapore and the United Kingdom; diversified data centers not only secures your data from natural disasters but it allows your visitors throughout the world to experience fast page loading time and download times.

One of the things I love just from looking at their homepage (http://www.hostnine.com) is that not only does it have a fresh design (a good sign for a company selling web space) but immediately I see that they have a scale of pricing options that range all the way to dedicated servers. Many of the larger web hosting companies have moved into exclusive niches such as solely selling dedicated server space or only shared space, but if you eventually outgrow one plan it is nice to have your data stored with the same company so that you can migrate easier. ipoweriPower is one of the fastest growing and largest web hosting companies in operation, they have been around since 2001 and they have grown substantially since. They now have more than 700,000 customers across over 100 countries. iPower is well known for offering inexpensive web hosting, they do offer some e-commerce packages and such for higher prices but most people use them for their standard shared web hosting package.

The focus of iPower is on small to medium sized businesses as well as home applications, if you have a company that anticipates millions of visitors per month you will need a dedicated server (about $6,000/year) but for the vast majority of us a shared web hosting option will work perfectly fine. Their “Pro” option has “unlimited” bandwidth and storage capacity, as well as allowing you to host unlimited domain names. I use a similar service to host about 20 domain names and I am still nowhere near my limits. Continue review... iPower Review

hostmonsterHostMonster is part of the old guard of web hosting companies on the internet, as they have been around since 1996. The good thing about this company is that they not only have a lot of experience, but they are quick to adapt to change utilizing features such as Fantastico to make it possible to start a website with no real technological background.

With pricing that typically varies between $5.95/month – $7.95/month, HostMonster is one of the most affordable web hosting options. The overhead is essentially nothing to create an online business, as you can host unlimited domains and there is no longer a need to pay ridiculous charges for a programmer or a designer to have a nice website, simply go to Fantastico and in a few clicks you will have a blog, or forums, or a CMS such as Joomla.
