iContact Review
iContact is the largest of the email marketing companies that I have reviewed, and by quite a large margin with over 600,000 users. They are based out of Durham, NC and have been around since 2003. The vast majority of their users are small businesses, but they also have infrastructure in place to support big companies with many active subscribers (100,000+) with their pro plans.
Any decent email marketing service will be able to offer at least 95% deliverability rates for their emails, iContact actually achieves over 99% deliverability according to Pivotal Veracity (an independent email auditing firm). They have very strong relationships with ISP white-lists, which allows them to get through the spam filters so your legitimate email for your client/customer isn’t thrown in the spam bin. Tools such as Spam-Check allow you to correct your emails before they are sent out to remove keywords or phrases that can trigger spam filters.
While these tools are in place, iContact is able to keep such high deliverability rates by weeding out the users that are using it for the wrong purposes. There is a huge difference between sending out spam, and sending out useful content such as coupons, a newsletter, blog posts, etc. You can use their free live marketing webinars or tutorials series to learn more about the art of sending out emails that people actually want to read.

iContact is one of the best email marketing solutions on the market, it always does well in the reviews and they continue to expand rapidly while offering more features. Their prices are usually lower than their competitors and they typically offer more features than the competition.
